We highly recommend going up the Saint-Jean Gate ramparts on the way to Rue Saint-Louis to take in the views.
Hop on the Québec City – Lévis Ferry
The best way to admire the St. Lawrence river is by boarding the ferry. It is good to know that this cheap activity will give you the best bang for your buck.

Go shopping in Petit-Champlain
Is there any street in Canada more charming than Petit-Champlain? We doubt it. The shops have something for everyone, so you will never get bored. The artisans are especially wroth checking out. Treat yourself to some local delicacies while you are in the area as well.
Admire the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency
From the Old City, you are only a short drive away from the Montmorency Falls. Did you know that they are 30 meters taller than Niagara?
You can explore the area on foot or take the cable car. If you feel adventurous, you can also hike the cliff!
